INEOS Styrolution, the global leader in styrenics, introduces a broad range of new styrenic solutions at K 2019 in Düsseldorf (October 16-23), Germany, giving customers a competitive advantage in their industries. The company’s first recycled products top the list of new materials giving customers not only the performance they are accustomed to, but also help them to meet their own sustainability goals. Customers are invited to booth D28 in hall 6 to learn from INEOS Styrolution’s experts.

The new Terluran® ECO GP-22 grades, based on mechanically recycled post-consumer WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), come with a recycled contribution of 50 and 70 percent, respectively. The product properties of the new Terluran ECO GP-22 are well within the property profile of the virgin Terluran GP-22.

The new high-flow Novodur® P4XF allows for an optimised productivity, especially for large and complex applications in the household and electronics industries. The material excels with an attractive balance of its product properties resulting in faster cycle times, shorter cooling times, a lower warpage, higher stiffness, higher surface quality and scratch resistance and less dust attraction/ electrostatic charge.

NAS® XC and NAS XC® UV are the latest additions to INEOS Styrolution’s NAS portfolio, “XC” standing for “Xtra Clear” and “XC UV” standing for “Xtra Clear with enhanced UV stability”. The material is designed for applications in need of ultra high clarity and very low haze. Electronics is considered to be the focus industry for NAS XC. NAS XC UV provides enhanced UV and high UV colour stability.

The new Zylar 631, rolled out to the markets in the Americas and in Asia-Pacific, has an excellent combination of product properties making it the material of choice for a range of household and healthcare applications. It excels in applications such as medical tray racks, syringe valves, vacuum cleaner parts, cosmetic packaging and toys – just to name a few.

“With the K taking place every three years, it is a good opportunity to assess our position in the styrenics industry. I am actually very pleased looking at our strong portfolio and seeing it becoming even stronger every year,” comments Kevin McQuade, CEO INEOS Styrolution. “I am particularly excited to see our customers’ very positive response to our new INEOS Styrolution ECO line of products for the circular economy. We take our commitment to sustainable solutions very seriously and I can promise that, going forward, we will not slow down our efforts to develop innovative sustainable solutions,” he adds.
